Following the correction observed in the previous month, MCX Nickel found support at the key Fibonacci retracement mark of 61.8% and bounced north. On its way up it breached the daily moving averages on the upside whereas the daily momentum indicator MACD gave a bullish crossover which added upside strength. The overall chart structure suggests upside potential where the target is placed at the previous swing high of 1641.70. The level of 40 DEMA which is currently at 1509 will provide near-term support to the base metal.
